Riding through the park
We went for a long bike ride today. Though it was 4 degrees Celsius outside the sun was shining and there was no wind so we took full advantage and biked over to the national park in Killarney here. We went along the path towards Ross castle. The road proved flooded. We turned to head back and found that we were fully chilled anyway. We were all so thankful to get out onto our bikes.
What a magnificent view, short lived or not! The air must have been enticingly brisk and oh, what scenery! Are you sure you didn’t ride into Narnia?
I am so eager to come to Ireland and see you. When I see photos like these and hear about all the places you get to ride your bikes it makes me want to jump on my bike and ride with you. Sorry you had to turn around due to flooding. But you were probably ready to get home where it was warm and maybe have a cup of something nice and hot to take off the chill.
